FullSignull Podcast - Episode 22

Author: admin - Categories: Podcast - Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Welcome back to another week of news and gaming stories. We’re kicking it off with an explination on the delay of this episode. The server on which our glory is hosted has gone over some major speedbumps last week. We’re clearing the air and uncovering the veil.

As far as news stories go, we’ve got releases coming from iD software, the Painkiller franchise is getting a reboot, thoughts on Bethesda’s model of keeping DLC bite-sized, Fallout 3 foliage mod, Assassin’s Creed 2 teaser site, and why we’re playing Oblivion again.

Listeners have come through yet again with some truly tremendous discussions. We’ve got iPhone 3.0 and beyond, collector’s editions, PETA getting their panties in a bunch over attack dogs, and how a Shadow of the Colossus movie could possibly make sense.

Strap in and strap on for episode 21 of the FullSignull Podcast. We’ve got a slew of news, as always, and a gallon of beer coursing through our veins. First off, Dante’s Inferno is getting an animated movie to accompany the video game. Mass Effect 2 has some leaked footage floating around. Did you see it? We’re excited about Dragon Age, as we should be. Speaking of RPGs, we’re going back to our Oblivion and Fallout experiences and talking about why difficulty can alter your gameplay experience. Interested in a PS2? Thankfully for you, they’ve dropped in price to a solid $99. Diablo III interface screenshots have been made public and oh-so-sexy. Brutal Legend is coming out on the Wii for all you Nintendo folk out there. Blizzard’s fifth title has yet to be announced, though speculation is overflowing in the gaming community. What is it and what’s going to crush the WoW behemoth? Wolfenstein 3D for the iPhone has been unleashed upon the world and we’re dying to give it a shot.

We’ve given Killzone 2 a solid run-through and are coming clean with what we thought about it. Is it, in fact, the system seller we all hoped for? Batman Arkham Assylum looks phenomenal and we want to tongue its thighs. We’ve built a few PCs in our day and begin spouting off like old men when prompted with advice. is it even worth it anymore?

FullSignull Podcast - Episode 18

Author: admin - Categories: Podcast - Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Hello, ye’ ole traveler! We’ve got yet another action packed week all crammed in to one delectable episode. What are we covering, you ask? We’re kicking it off with a hoppin’ news segment. Square Enix is buying Eidos in May. We’ve got a few more deets on Dante’s Inferno. Toys R Us seems to be trying their hand at the used game market… Should we care? Tabula Rasa is getting unplugged via armageddon. Sweet!

The first story of the week relates to piracy and homebrew on handhelds. We haven’t had a chance to play with an R4, but plenty of you probably have. As time continues to tick, we continue to get older. How has that affected our gaming addiction? Females are a rare breed on XBL amidst the sea of penii. Why is that and how has the landscape changed over the past decade? Last but not least, Apple has finally refreshed some of its long awaited products. The Mac Mini, Time Capsule, Airport Extreme, and iMac have all undergone the knife and are back with plumper lips and fuller figures. Are they a hackjob or a work of art?

We’re back in full force this week with one of the longest episodes yet! Due to the obscene amount of topic requests over Twitter, we’ve got quite a bit to talk about. Yeah, that’s just news! Topic requests this week include a brief overview of Street Fighter IV and why it’s melting our faces. Game remakes have become a hot trend the past five years or so. How is it affecting the industry? Quake Live has finally been unveiled in a public beta. We’re discussing why it’s unfathomably awesome. Where are video games going in the coming years? Skate 2 is rocking our world. What would make Trevor buy a PS3? And finally, we butt heads about video game previews and what they’re good for.

This week’s video game market has been buzzing louder than than your eight year old electric toothbrush. We’ve been graced with the presence of GTA IV: The Lost and the Damned in all it’s male full-frontal glory. Street Fighter IV has released! HADOUKEN! Halo Wars has been puzzling the masses with it’s non-motherly love. Xbox Live has become a giant cesspool of ornery pre-pubescent teenagers. What are some of our best and worse moments? Back in the day, idle character animations were pure awesome. Let’s reminisce! The layoffs continue to pour in this week, striking the G4 network and affecting both Attack of the Show and X-Play.

FullSignull Podcast - Episode 15

Author: admin - Categories: Podcast - Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

We’re bringing back the tech in Episode 15 via the Amazon Kindle 2. What do we think of it? Plenty of gaming news has littered the pipeline this week to the tune of some Call of Duty: World at War DLC, Left 4 Dead DLC, and Dead Rising 2 being unveiled. Speaking of gaming, the PC has been on the decline in terms of playability for the past couple of years. Will PC gaming ever recover? How can it compete with the market share that the console’s are holding?
